Tail-Ender Trophy

The one that no one really wants. But somebody's gotta get it. Up to the 2011-2012 season, the two lowest teams in the standings played off for this, these were the 9th and 10th place teams. The winner of these playoffs doesn't get their name on the trophy! For 2012-2013: With only 8 teams in the league, the losers of the two B playoffs played the tailender game. So not necessarily the bottom two teams! 2013-2014: With 9 teams, all we could do was award the trophy to the last place team. No playoff. That applied to the 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 seasons as well! Since then we've had 8 teams again, and are even down to 6 now, but are continuing to simply award this to the last place team. (Opening up the possibility for the Tail-Ender team to also win the B trophy in the playoffs! And it has happened too.)
